Review of Lifeboat (1944) by Carl A — 09 Aug 2007
Almost all Hitchcock films create tension through confined space (The shower scene in Psycho, the train sequence in North by Northwest ect...). This film takes this idea further by being set immediatly after an American civilian boat is destroyed by a German sub (it was shot and set during ww2) with 8 survivors on a small lifeboat together with 1 German.
Paranoia, suspense this has it all!!
