Review of Lifeboat (1944) by Adam B — 12 Sep 2007
Movies don't get anymore high concept than this... A ship gets torpedoed during World War II, and the film chronicles the journey of the survivors. The whole movie is confined to the boat, which is an interesting way of setting a movie.
Sort of dated now, but then again, you must look at when the movie was created, and it will give you a good basis for why the German is treated.
