Review of Lifeboat (1944) by Brock R — 27 Jun 2008
Surprisingly tense and gripping interaction for a cast stuck on a boat for the entire movie. While some of the events and interactions come across overly staged and (in)convenient, there is a dramatic hum the entire time.
There's a wonderful Hitchcockian twist that doesn't spoil the movie if you know it, and you are left with a meta-perspective ending.
