Review of Lifeboat (1944) by John S — 07 Aug 2008
While I think this moie is dated - I still give it a higher rating because of the wonderful acting from all onboard. there are brilliant moments - and one of hitchcock's best cameos! the problem is the way the film turns into a war propaganda movie - calling all germans evil and deserving of death- PROVING it on 2 separate counts of german men.
were it not for these notions, this would rank up near hitchcock's best on my list.
