Review of Lifeboat (1944) by Shawn M — 06 Oct 2009
I was surprised with who the villain ended up being in this movie, only because I thought it would be too OBVIOUS that way... but then again, this was made in 1944, so I should have expected it, really.
The romance between Hodiak and Bankhead seemed a little silly, but otherwise I liked the banter between the characters, and Hitchcock's classic use of suspense to keep everything on edge.
