Review of Life or Something Like It (2002) by Irina G — 19 Mar 2004
 The romantic comedy Life or Something Like It is an amazing film with a meaningful message behind it..
Angelina Jolie and Edward Burns were a perfect match in the movie Life or Something Like It. Angelina Jolie plays a news reporter told she has only one week to live after interviewing a pyshic/profit played by Monk's Tony Shalhoub. In her quest to find a way not to die in one week, Angelina Jolie attempts changing her life by trying a new path. She is a strong character that ends up changing completely in one week. She dumps her future husband, goes on air reporting drunk, eats Oreos, takes a trip down memory lane, and finds a new love played by Edward Burns. In the end, her character does not physically die but finds a new approach and outlook on life as she becomes a new person. The important message behind the movie is basically the old saying of, "Live each day like it were your last, because one of these days it will be." It also shows how perfect an imperfect life can be. :fresh:  .
