Upon first hearing of this movie I thought it would be boring. I'm sad to say it took me even this long to watch it. I had heard so many good things about it and I'm so glad I gave it a chance.
It was amazing and had me in tears nearly the whole time. Even knowing from the beginning that Pi somehow survived didn't ease the fear I felt for him. The ocean is so unknown and the creatures in it's depths even more so.
Maybe it was the fear of the ocean already instilled in me that made this movie better, but there is no denying that the acting was amazing and the plot emotionally thrilling.
