An incredible, faithful, amazing and delightful adaptation of a children's book. The movie of the same name depicts love, loss, relationships between humans and animals, adventure and discovery and ocean survival in the best way imaginable.
It is completely creative, colorful and emotionally rewarding. Thanks to the use of 3D CGI and green screen, it sticks extremely well to the book. Overall, Ang Lee's Life of Pi is a visual masterpiece, often transcending the boundaries of special effects and what they're capable of.
It's spiritually insightful.
