Personally, I wish the Python boys had gone with their hilarious original title: JESUS CHRIST: LUST FOR GLORY (can I get a t-shirt? Please?).

But though they didn't go that more controversial route, the film is a comedic gold mine. My favorite line, probably the most famous, is "He's not the messiah. He's a very naughty boy.".

And that line rather sums up the movie- a hilarious, irreverent film that pokes fun at religious zealots and all that's holy. It's a very witty, clever film that you should see.
