Review of Life of Brian (1979) by Ifiok O — 24 Oct 2009
Of course any movie that takes upon the subject of religion will draw the ire of many people. But as poignant as the satire in 'Brian' is, I still find it to be pretty funny. It has this sort of gallows humor that is part of the appeal of the movie, which most especially seen in the 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life' musical number.
If I'm going to watch one movie that satirizes religion, it might as well be one that gets it right--'Life of Brian.'.
