The Catholic church had a hernia and Python became hugely popular. Thanks to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, Monty Pythin make a few stellar films that are brilliantly satirical and off-putting.
Life of Brian may not be their best, but it remains their most controversial. "I found a spoon!".
