Review of Life of Brian (1979) by Bradford O — 27 Sep 2010
The second film outing in the Python world is hands down the best. Python was always cutting edge with their writing and satirical schticks, but this is the most intelligent yet brutally amusing performance from the comedy troupe.
There is not one second where the silliness isn't ridiculous or offensive in some form or fashion. It's funny how six british blokes formed one of the greatest comedy ensembles in history. It is also a shame that comedy nowadays is obviously bland, a-typical nonsense that appeals to a crowd of mentally moronic individuals who do not want to think, especially in a comedic situation.
Oh well, heres to one of the best comedies of all time !!
