I have never really been a huge fan of Life of Brian but I am beginning to see what the fuss is about. It playfully pokes fun at religion, or more accurately the people who 'follow' religion blindly, but despite all the hoo-ha at the time of release it doesn't (as far as I am concerned) show any genuine disrespect.
Instead it is a very funny and inventive comedy, in which only a few scenes fall short, I never found 'Biggus Dickus' funny.
