Review of Life Itself (2018) by Brittany A — 27 Dec 2018
I am unsure if these 'critics' were watching the same movie that I was because I was utterly enthralled. It put me on a rollercoaster of emotions. The bit at the beginning was phenomenal, to me anyways.
Like a rollercoaster, making it all the way to the top for gravity (life) to bring you back to the ground. I mean, open your eyes.. for some life is exactly what this movie portrays. Hurt, angst, depression, happiness, failure, jealousy, gratitude, love, and the list of emotions in this film are endless.
But, you better hold on because this ride is intense and when you get off of it.. you may be engulfed in thoughts. Hell, I was for at least an hour after the movie ended. We all know what we want life to be and we are so set in our ways of all of our thoughts becoming reality.
This movie gives an example of the 'what if it doesn't happen like I have pictured it to?' Open your minds to something that is beautiful, heartbreaking, and in the end joyous. You will be happy that you took this ride, I promise.
