Review of Life Itself (2018) by Mario O — 23 Dec 2018
Life Itself is an experience, much like life itself. A journey, highlighting the trials and tribulations of love and loss and life that inevitably goes on. This movie tugged at my heart strings in a very real way.
It shows humans in an authentic light, when we get it right in love, and when we get it wrong, so so wrong, but at the end of the day it all comes back to love.Love love love! This film is beautiful + in order to see it truly we must have open hearts to feel the depth of love that is brought forth.
So many people are afraid of love (even unbeknownst to them) and are equipped with giant walls of resistance built in their hearts. Such walls must be torn down, to FEEL LOVE as we are so called to do.
This film will help with that. Fear not the tears that come from the unavoidably relatable theme of love and LIFE ITSELF.10/10 this movie is underrated. If you gave a bad rating, please for goodness sakes, watch it again, this time with a heart that is a little more open, to feeling feelings that every human needs to be feeling, love.
