Review of Life Itself (2014) by David S — 07 Jul 2014
Very enlightening documentary about the life of Roger Ebert. Film critic and journalist, husband and friend. It shows the days, weeks and months leading up to his death. Some of the footage is hard to watch due to the life-saving surgery he had where his lower jaw-bone had to be removed.
However it is also up-lifting and positive, even when watching outtakes of Siskel and he bickering on-camera.
