Film critic Roger Ebert influenced not only film criticism around the world, but also influenced and changed the way we see movies today. That said, I think so far as of this July 2014, this is my favorite film of the year, a movie or you can call it a documentary that is rich is storytelling, and it has even more significance to the audiences who see it. My first exposure to Ebert was around. 4-5 years ago, reading some film reviews online and seeing this one guy who have so many film reviews than anybody else and also the one who understands what is right, wrong, what can be improve, and what is special to a particular film. And having many TV shows around the country that copied the dynamic duo of Siskel and Ebert. A TV show that is not just 2 people arguing and talking about movies but also a symbolic figures in the cinema. We know that these 2 are already gone, their legacy and beliefs in film will never gone away forever as it is right now right?

So, as a film, I learn a lot of things about Ebert that I've never heard before and so does to his buddy Siskel. It became even more emotional at the end where everybody gave their condolences to Ebert and while we see some classic TV clips from the Shows. From a having a point of view of writing and reading film reviews a long time, I think I appreciate its significance to the society, do you think people just watch a movie they watch today, you always see them probably most of them, talk about it after leaving the theater, so why not make a big review about it and let it share to everybody. We also learned that Ebert started from rags to riches, from being a newspaper writer to a film critic how could that be possible.

And so far, my favorites of the year were The Lego Movie, X Men days of future past, and now my number one, this documentary. Everybody who loves and cares about movies will love it and it's a definitely two thumbs way up!
