Review of Life Itself (2014) by Adam E — 30 Jul 2014
Roger Ebert was a big part of what got me to love movies, love the sotry, the feelings, everything. I remember after writing a little blurb on here or before going to look at his review to see what he thought, sometimes we disagreed, mostly we agreed, I felt like I knew Roger Ebert.
His writing and this movie just pull you in, they pull you in gently though there is never any force. If you appreciated Ebert, this celebration really of his life is a wonderful documentary. It doesn't gloss over his bad parts in life, Ebert would have liked that, he wanted you to know the whole story.
Watching this was like opening a fresh wound again, all I can really say is, see you at the movies Roger.
