An excellent film about an extraordinary film critic of our time. Roger Ebert was so iconic & his opinion & the infamous Two Thumbs Up review was desired as much as an Oscar.
Although he was no saint or a particularly nice person & he clashed something fierce with Gene Siskel he maintained an incredible presence in the film world.
His descent into bad health was tragic & he continued with his ever successful blogging. This film is extremely truthful & touching & truly is a monumental documentary.
