Review of Life Itself (2014) by Peter B — 16 Jan 2015
Love or hate his reviews, there is no denying Ebert's impact on film history. I was disappointed in his memoir (unfocused and repetitive) but this movie of the same name is a fitting tribute to his life.
Using material from the book, footage of his final days and interviews with those closest to him, the filmmakers not only tell Ebert's story, they also examine how we face our own mortality.
