Review of Life Is Sweet (1991) by Nicholas A — 28 May 2008
With "Naked" stands as the best from Mike Liegh. Almost completely opposite that film in texture, it is probably the most gentle film from the director. Outstanding performances from some of the (now) leading lights of acting from the British Isles.
Another reviewer called this "sublime slice of ordinary life" and I can not disagree.
