Review of Life Is a Miracle (2004) by Lilian W — 10 Aug 2010
There is an underlying wisdom about Emir Kusturica's self and social mockery!! you can't help but fall in love with every character in this film from the idealistic father to the neurotic wife, the gold-digging politicians to the non-human creatures (who knew that donkeys had so much charisma? :)) ) My Only problem with it is that it was overtly long.
This could've been a five-star masterpiece within 90-minute time frame.
