Review of Life in a Day (2011) by Jeffrey C — 17 Nov 2011
This movie had a very cool concept, have people all over the world film there day for one day and then compile all the footage into a documentary. There were some really neat things shown in the film dont get me wrong but this was a 90 minute movie and those "neat" things filled only about 20 minutes.
There was no plot, no rhyme or reason, just simply random clips from people all over the world shown back to back to back until the end. There was some very emotional raw footage of love, pain and grief and also some almost unnecessary things shown like killing a cow and live births that were hard to watch.
This neat idea worked in some instances but overall in a 90minute format it was rather boring and the majority of people will think so to.
