Life in a Day is an extraordinary documentary which features some of the finest editing Iâ(TM)ve seen in quite a while. Yes, documentaries live and die by how theyâ(TM)re edited, but this one, even more so.
That it even manages an overall narrative from all the videos sent in to Youtube is a feat that seems as though it would be impossible. Macdonald helps manage it all very well. We get a feel through a few small various stories with the rest being snippets, of the world on July 24, 2010.
Itâ(TM)s a look at life in the raw, more than it is ever shown, simply because these people have chosen to tape themselves in this manner. A must watch, simple, but one of the most important and underrated films of 2011.
