Review of Life as a House (2001) by Sean C — 07 Mar 2009
I forgot how much I live Kevin Kline and realize that I haven't seen him in anything for the longest time. This film surprised me in the breadth of the story and how well paced and told the story is throughout.
Christensen is a mystery to me b/c he's great in this and in Shattered Glass but horrendous in all the Star Wars films. I love the redemptive nature of this film and the lengths it goes to show that we are able to love and care for people in our lives and that it's never too late and that there can be hope if we have the eyes to see and the hearts that are willing to be exposed and touched by being involved in people's lives apart even in the midst of our and their brokenness.
