Review of Life as a House (2001) by Nick H — 30 May 2009
For some strange reason, I seemed to enjoy this. If not for the average story or the cliché characters, then for Hayden Christenson an Ian Somerhalder in a low budget, unpromoted and largely poorly-received indie film.
Ok, it was a little cheesy and over-the-top, but it was still a slight draught of cold air in a summer full of naff humid blockbusters and slow, stagnant indies.
