Review of Life as a House (2001) by Kim M — 04 Aug 2009
Touching, but not over-the-top, seeped in reality based drama and humor. This is the story of a recently diagnosed cancer patient who learns to love himself and his estranged family while building the house of his dreams.
The story doesn't overly focus on illlness, and instead focuses on the developing relationship between a man and his misguided son while they undertake the impossible--to build a house on their own.
Kevin Kline's performance is flawless and convincing.
