Review of Life as a House (2001) by Elizabeth R — 09 Nov 2012
This movie moves slowly, but I thought it was a beautiful story about the fractured bonds of family and how impending death can mend them. Christensen, to me, is a stilted actor and I didn't care for his acting in the newer Star Wars films.
He isn't that much different in this movie, but it seemed to work better, oddly, for his characterization of Sam. I tend to equate Kline as a comedic actor, so it was good to see him show his talent in a more dramatic role.
He did not disappoint.
