Review of Life as a House (2001) by Kyle B — 05 Sep 2015
It gets to be a little too melodramatic in certain places but Kline delivers one of his better performances as well as Hayden Christensen in a time before he was hated but many. Jena Malone and Mary Steenburgen are also good in this.
Most of this movie takes place outside near the water so the cinematography is really great in certain scenes. I loved the whole neighborhood life story and enjoyed that stuff more than the father/son bonding time.
