Review of Life After Beth (2014) by Mario F — 18 Jan 2015
Uh, so Aubrey Plaza is adorable and crazy and I love her. So what better role than to play a crazed zombie of sorts. While adorable for about 35-40 minutes, the story is completely lacking of anything else.
Plaza is worth a chuckle for the duration just because she's such an adorable nut and the character does some nutty things. But there's little to no background on anything. Little to no cause and effect. In other words, the success of the movie is based entirely on Plaza's adorability. Unfortunately, few people are so adorable they can carry a 90 minute movie without help.
