Waiting for a good sci-fi anymore gets to be like waiting for a cup of water in hell. And this film is not going to allieviate the thirst. Why? Because, instead of the alien menace menacing there is human error enabling (like the woman who falls down when the monster is chasing her) the threat.

Instead of cheering our staunch defenders I was angry at them, over and over, until the end, one mistake after another. Then I was angry at the filmmakers for cheating me, misleading me. And that's why it bombed.

P.S. I accurately guessed the order of the hunt 10 minutes in ... and was not disappointed.
