Life might not have any surprises or new ideas, but it has a fantastic cast, beautiful direction and and a great sense of tone and pace. Even when the twists feel predictable, you can't help but smile and be glued to your seat.
This may not be a film that stays in your memory for ever but it is one of the truly great switch-off-your-brain rides and has some pleasantly chilling moments as well. Totally worth it.
