Review of Life (2017) by Herrkapitan9 — 26 Mar 2017
Life... I was really looking forward this movie and I have to say it nails it!, I mean, yeah is not Alien of some other similar cult classic, but Life is a very grounded, realistic and dramatic approach to an scenario where things could go wrong during experiments with an unknown extraterrestrial specie and damn it turns wrong hard.
The setting was confined, dark and cold as you could imagine space, the overall acting is pretty good, and it has a pretty cool twist with one of the characters that I thought was genious, the CGI is very tight and the pace of the movie is always moving, along the threats inside the ship.
I got constantly entertained and there's a lot of danger sense in the film if space wasn't enough. In resume, I think this movie hyped me even more for the upcoming alien covenant movie, and definitely worth my while and my $$ this time around.
