Review of Life (2017) by Schroederrock — 06 Jun 2017

I had zero expectations for this movie and decided to watch it 1/2 way through watching its trailer. I like sci-fi thrillers so this seemed like a good fit for me. For the most part, it was. The cast is strong but doesn't get much time to develop before the story gets into full swing, which hurts the film throughout.

Still, you'll probably get wrapped up in the suspense as the crew are pushed into full fledged survival mode within the first 20-30 minutes of the film and the rest is a bit of a roller coaster ride. It's a monster vs man story and it has a fantastic budget for a B-level film (the special effects are very good).

If the characters would have been developed a bit more I think this would have been highly rated.
