Life essentially contradicted the classic tagline "In space no one can hear you scream." This film revolves around a crew of scientists that are trapped with an alien that is trying to survive.
Sound familiar? This film demonstrated a strong cast with Jack Gyllenhaal and Rebecca Ferguson, but the lack of originality disappointed me. Bringing an unknown organism from Mars into the International Space Station was an interesting concept to explore, but the final result of this film was too predictable.
Life isn't a bad movie. It just doesn't take the space horror genre in any new direction.
