Review of Life (2017) by Ray F — 26 Mar 2017
At first we thought this was a remake of Carpenter's 'The Thing,' not Howard Hawk's 'The Thing,' or the sequel titled 'The Thing' or the prequel also titled 'The Thing.
' But it seemed, in the end to be more of an 'Alien' movie, not 'Aliens' et seq. This one was interesting in being aboard the International Space Station and thus it was filmed to simulate weightlessness.
The creature was pretty well thought out albeit the science behind it is pretty sketchy. What also helps this movie is the way superior acting, given the cast that was not surprising. I probably would give it 5 stars if not for the very formulaic climax and ending.
However we enjoyed ourselves and this one is recommended.
