So derivative. Use a giant octopus instead of the xenomorph in Aliens and put in blender with Gravity. Make the astronauts completely stupid and impulsive. Add a lot of blood and gore. Then don't bother hiring a science or technical consultant.

On the positive side, the camera work is smooth and well-done and the acting is fair (it's the script that sucks).
