Review of Life (2017) by Takashi S — 18 Sep 2017
B-movie. Formula. You're better off re-watching Alien (same plot), or even The Blob (with Steve McQueen). A piece of space dirt, grows, and eventually holds a space ship hostage, one by one out-maneuvering and doing away with the astronauts (foreigners go first, then the ones with the American flag armbands--there must have been some pentagon money used here to help with the special effects).
~~ Script? Dialogue? Not even an attempt. And those who are friends of Goodnight Moon will probably be insulted by its reference toward the end. ~~ The acting and directing under the circumstances are arbitrary, and the studio could have saved money there by hiring unknowns.
For more fun, they could have hired Jack Nicholson to just improvise. Anyway, you get the picture. Two stars (for the kiddies).
