Review of Lies & Illusions (2009) by Zahran Z — 03 Jan 2011
Everything about this movie is bad. I am SHOCKED that anyone convinced Christian Slater OR Cuba Gooding Jr. to be in this movie. Very weak script, everything is explained through dialouge (and I mean EVERYTHING) and it kills any suspense that would keep you interested.
The acting (except for Slater and Gooding) is TERRIBLE, C List at best. The title of the movie is "Lies and Illusions" making you think terror, suspense, nail biting, but it should have been called "Blantantly Obvious" because every turn, or twist, that could happen, ends up being overlooked for the blatantly obvious.
My reccomendation, if you want to laugh at a dissapointing attempt at suspense and thrills, watch Lies and Illusions. If you want to watch a suspenseful, thrilling, film, find something else.
