Review of Lies & Illusions (2009) by Harry R — 09 Nov 2009

After realizing how horrible this movie was going to be only 10 minutes in, I'm surprised that I still watched it until the end. I can only guess that Cuba Gooding Jr and Christian Slater either, 1) owed massive amounts of money to somebody and the only way to pay them back was to take a role in this film, 2) are so incredibly stupid with their money that they are somehow completely broke and needed this part just to stay afloat, 3) had their lives or family's lives threathened unless they agreed to do this movie, 4) these were VERY convincing Cuba and Christian look-alikes trying to catch their break, 5) thought it would be absolutely hilarious to star in such a horrible, horrible film, or 6) were abducted by aliens who stole their bodies and starred in this film in order to more closely study human behavior (or possibly All of the Above).
