Review of Licorice Pizza (2021) by Touchtalk2001 — 28 May 2022
An incredibly disjointed and over-rated series of pointless vignettes, Licorice Pizza, doesn't work as a character study and has no discernable plot to speak of. The two characters are alternately cloying, then grating and the premise itself is uninvolving and rather absurd.
I wanted to like it based on the reviews but it's just awful and I had to turn it off half way through.
