Review of License to Wed (2007) by Dave W — 30 Apr 2009
Letâ??s just say that Robin Williams is a hit or miss comedian for me. License to Wed is one of those comedies where Williams can shine at times, however he is all too often overshadowed by plot devices that involve our newly engaged couple as they muffle through their relationship problems.
It can be fun to watch Williams poke fun at preacher wit. John Krasinski (The Office) pulls off his character without a hitch and Mandy Moore is decent yet a little annoying all the same. We often see cast member from the hit TV show The Office pop up here and there and all are on their game yet I donâ??t see the connection to the show and why they are almost all here but oh well.
License to Wed is a fun comedy that shoots straight down at the end, but for those looking for something that is bearable to watch with the girlfriend then you may both actually enjoy this.
