Quite a fun teens movie from the 80s. The usual irritating friend/buddy, school crush, adventure etc. It is funny to see cassette tapes again. Corey Haim dream of escaping the school bus, hop onto the sports car with Heather Graham and race off.

Corey Feldman is his best friend. Haim always wanted to drive but have not been able to pass to get license. Heather's boyfriend drive the sports car. Haim grandpa took his dad car and park his Cadillac with them.

The buddy went to a party. Heather didn't like her boyfriend been too controlling and she said her new date is Haim. Next day, he ask his father to let him send Heather home to impress her. She wanted to go her friend's home which is farther away.

He has no choice but left his father behind. He manage to date her on the weekend. During the test, Haim fail while his twin sister pass full score. He bang on the computer and cause total shutdown. They couldn't retrieve the score and base on his sister full score, decided he might have pass too, let him drive.

His tester is intimidating. Ask him not to spill his coofee or he fails. Haim manage to scrap through all the obstacle tester give. At the last part Haim jammed brake hard and luckily the cup is empty.

He got his license but immediately they got the score and revoke his license. He lied to his parent she pass until mum saw his result slip. Haim didn't dare to date Heather. She call him instead and wish to go out.

He sees his folks are asleep and secretly drive the Cadillac. They went to a club, eather slap her ex boyfriend and took a bottle of champagne. His car got tow away he has no choice but pay the man on the spot.

She bring him to a night spot to view the city scenery. She got drunk and dance on top the car, cause a small dent. Drive to Feldman who repair the dent. Another friend Michael Manasseri with Feldman join the cruise to a cafe.

In the backseat, Feldman un-button Heather and use the camera to take her boobs. Haim is tussling with him and the car skid and manage to land safely. Feldman is bringing them for fun and so put Heather behind the boot.

At the cafe, Feldman hook up some girls who are gonna join them. Michael open the door wide and scratch a hooligan car door. Haim got to drive away. They are in a road block and he couldn't produce the driver license.

Worse still, Heather is found behind the boot. The police are despatch to a protest and so the trio are lucky to let off. A drunk man took his car by mistake and they give chase. The man wreck the car real bad and fell asleep.

Haim try to rescue the car by jumping in. Manage to brake it before descending to a pit. He send everyone home. Feldman and Michael totally enjoy and respect Haim. When he return, dad scold him big time.

Mum is going into labour and Haim have to drive. Only the reverse gear works and they go that way to the hospital. Dad is impress of Haim driving. Then a metal log drop smash the car. Grandpa is furious but laugh out loud.

Because he also wrecked the father's car. Heather drive the VW cabriolet over and Haim took the wheels.
