Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Geraldo G — 16 Nov 2012
It's not Bond's finest film, but with it's vengeance story, and a huge load of good cast, Licence to Kill manages to at least be on the good Bond films side. Timothy plays a very intense, funny Bond hurted still by his past and seeking revenge, and ironically, with a licence to kill revoked.
The action is good, but probably fails some times, as the punches are slow or unrealistic. The acting is amazing, the Bond girls (Carey Lowell and Talisa Soto) are stunning, sexy and useful to the film's progress, and the villian, played by Robert Davi is pure evil and solid with his loyalty crap and all that.
The problem with Licence to Kill is that it never seems to get exhilarating as previous Bond entries, but is still and overall, a fun ride.
