Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Martin G — 10 Jul 2013
Licene to Kill is most likely the darkest Bond film produced, and one of the best. The revenge theme, and seeing a dark, angry side of Bond after his closest friend is mauled and his wife murdered, adds a layer of interest to the film and Timothy Dalton does a great job portraying a vengeful rogue agent.
The villains, especially Robert Davi, are all great and menacing in their roles. The action scenes are really exciting, particularly the tanker chase at the end.
