Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Adam E — 27 Jul 2008
As dull as Timothy Dalton was as Bond, Licence to Kill remains a decent effort. It may be clumsy and lacking in style but its darker story is definitely involving and offers a few nifty twists and turns.
Dalton does pretty well as a more troubled Bond and even though the vilains are less than memorable, it's still fun to see a young Benicio Del Toro as a henchman. Entertaining if forgettable.
