Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Donald S — 10 Nov 2008
What turned a lot of people off from this movie was that this was a much different Bond than people are used to, this is James Bond as a rogue agent. A much more serious approach of Bond avenging his friend by taking down an entire drug empire.
The action scenes are well done, especially the tanker truck scene. With Bond movies today, I think people are starting to appreciate what Dalton did with his interpretation of James Bond.
