Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Cesar R — 24 Jul 2009
Somewhat overlong (even though most Bonds are this length) venture here about Bond taking matters into his own hands to find out who attacked his friends on their wedding day. This annoys the British Secret Service (and apparently the producers, for this is Dalton's last go at it as Bond).
More realism seems to be the word in this one, and well, that sort of saps the fun out of it. Bond is supposed to be ridiculous, isn't it? (I can hardly wait to see was Brosnan, Pearce Brosnan has in store for me).
At least it has a crazy assed chase scene at the end. How many tanker trailers were there???
