Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Delton C — 30 Jun 2010
[8/10] Too bad Dalton went out after only two films. This one is really underrated, and had Dalton giving out what Bond really is all about - a cold-blooded, ruthless yet rational assassin. Still, making him go against Her Majesty's Secret Service was not Bond-ian of him to do, but the great Bond girls, a terrific villain and fantastic action sequences (including a spectacular truck chase that lasts for about 15 minutes) more than make up for it.
One of the most violent and brutal Bond films ever, Dalton really went out with a bang on this one.
