Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Andy H — 21 May 2011

Still just as good the second time, maybe even better! I don't get why Wayne Newton was in this but I really don't care. He cracked me up. The main villain and his henchmen might not be as memorable as other Bond movies but I think this has one of the best plots in the series. Bond's out for revenge and ends up screwing up other undercover investigations. Its too bad Dalton only had two movies as Bond.

I'm keeping my rating the same from when I watched it in February.

I feel bad for skipping ahead...but I really liked this one A LOT, so I guess its better than skipping ahead and watching a bad one. Dalton is pretty awesome as Bond, too bad he only got two chances to play him. Though Jake Fratelli didn't get to live underground, he got to have pets and henchmen, so I can dig that.

So far its my second favorite, right behind Goldfinger. The plot itself felt like a more serious version of Live and Let Die, which isn't a bad thing at all.
